BIG day here at CHN headquarters. The Kentucky Derby, TMT vs Maidana, and it's Game 7 city in the NBA. Just a perfect day to get hammered drunk and aggressively bet on sports. For those keeping track at home, I'm now 13-8 on the year. Most degenerates like to hit about 55% of their bets. Me, I'm more of a 61.9% kind of guy - always have been, always will be. Today's picks:
Pacers -6: No surprise that I'm taking the Pacers here. The Pacers are a good team, and the Hawks suck, despite what has gone on this series.
Memphis +9.5: Zach Randolph in street clothes is definitely going to hurt the Grizzlies chances in OKC tonight. But this team plays hard a shit to begin with, getting fucked by Silver and the NBA is just added motivation. Even if they don't pull off the W, 9.5 points is a joke of a line.
Warriors +6.5: So sick of the Clippers and this Donald Sterling story. Need them to lose so this story can die already. Plus they are annoying. Nailed it.
Maidana by decision +1600: $100 bet to win $1600? Why not. You'd have to bet your entire bank account on Mayweather just to make a profit - definitely not worth it. Might as well throw a little coin on Maidana and root for the upset.
Kentucky Derby: I'll update this blog to let you know which horse I took after the race.
